The agenda of another meeting included issues related to the activities of the endowment fund and implementation of Priority 2030 projects by ASU as a winner of the competition, as well as preparation for the celebration of the university’s 90th anniversary.
The session was moderated by Senior Vice President for the Caspian Region of Eurasia Management LLC and Chair of the Board of Overseers Aleksandr Zhilkin.
The rector of Astrakhan State University presented the projects declared in the Priority 2030 programme and plans for their implementation.
According to the head of ASU, achieving large-scale results is possible through transformation of educational programmes and their adjustment according to the demands of the industry and economy of Astrakhan.
Ruslan Khusainov, Vice-Rector for Economics and Finances, told the members of the Board of Overseers about another aspect of the development of Astrakhan State University. He presented the programmes on overhaul, construction and reconstruction of buildings and dormitories being implemented at ASU.
President of the university and Executive Secretary of the Board of Overseers Aleksandr Lunev told the meeting participants about possible vectors of developing the endowment fund of Astrakhan State University.
The meeting participants also discussed issues of preparing and holding events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Astrakhan State University.
