Transport & Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions Gathers at VUZPROMEXPO

At the meeting, the experts discussed prospects for cooperation, shared research findings and put forward a number of working proposals.

The event was held within the framework of the VUZPROMEXPO exhibition, summing up the results of the Year of Science and Technology. The meeting was attended by representatives of the universities that are members of the consortium, and it was moderated by ASU Rector and Consortium President Konstantin Markelov.

The participants discussed the prospects for cooperation, development of a joint master’s programme on digital logistics of Astrakhan State University and Volgograd State University, made a proposal to establish an educational and methodological council and approved a work plan for 2022.

The speakers presented reports on topical issues of transport logistics development. Thus, the experts told the audience about the hierarchy of programmes for organizing delivery, routes for export deliveries of oil cargo and modern trends in logistics research.

Aleksey Rybakov, Director of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of Astrakhan State University, told his colleagues about the North-South Digital Platform, one of the strategic projects of ASU that is being implemented within the framework of the Priority 2030 programme.

An international conference on intellectual logistics was held at Astrakhan State University following the meeting of the consortium.
