Prospective Students from Tajikistan Are Invited to Enter ASU

The deans of Astrakhan State University have held the first pilot meeting with graduates of educational institutions of the republic, organized with the assistance of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Tajikistan within the Priority 2030 programme for developing the export potential of Russian education.

The event participants were greeted by ASU Vice-Rector for International Affairs Angelina Fadina and the graduate of Astrakhan State University, ex-Chair of the Astrakhan branch of the Association of International Students Shakhrom Boboev, who represents of the community of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the meeting, schoolchildren from Tajikistan learned about the benefits and opportunities of studying at ASU. The faculty deans and the director of the ASU College spoke about the activities of the structural units they head and the areas of study being implemented.

The broadcast of videos prepared by the ASU Media Studio allowed the children to learn about the interesting student life, the university infrastructure and the comfortable conditions for foreign students’ stay and support provision.

The next meeting, scheduled for January 19, 2022, is organized for applicants from Tajikistan who want to study in engineering educational programmes.
