Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod Students Go on a Joint Scientific Expedition

In July 2022, young scientists from Astrakhan Tatishchev State University and Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University will deal with integral assessment of the current state of the Volga and its basin within the framework of the Re-Discovering Russia interuniversity programme.

The ASU team, led by Professor Anna Fedotova, has passed the competitive selection and will conduct research within the framework of the strategic project of Astrakhan State University under the Priority 2030 programme.

In the course of work, students will be able to demonstrate their professional competencies in working on a real project. Representatives of the two universities will provide mutual professional consultations, exchange information, coordinate positions and develop common solutions in the cooperation areas. This is a great opportunity to plunge into the realities of Russian life and to test the theoretical principles learned during their studies in practice.

Currently, an internal selection of candidates for participation in the campaign is being carried out. Transport costs, accommodation and meals will be covered by the Russia — the Land of Opportunities organization, and the project operator is the HSE National Research University. The expedition will last from 1 to 3 weeks.

Here you can fill out the questionnaire to be selected as an expedition participant.
