ASU Will Train National Security Specialists

The Law Faculty of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University has started admission for a new major in legal support of national security.

ASU is the only university in the Caspian region that offers this major. Students will be trained in accordance with the Priority 2030 programme within the framework of the strategic project Developing a System of Societal (Complex) Security of the Caspian Macro-region (Greater Caspian Region).

Professors and practicing experts of the ASU Law Faculty worked on the development of the curriculum addressing numerous requests from employers and taking into account modern political realities. The new major will give its graduates the opportunity to be in demand and competitive in the modern labour market.

Employers are interested in such specialists a lot. Graduates will be prepared to work in state security agencies, the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, state legislative, executive or juridical authorities, local governments, political parties, public organizations, as well as legal departments of international companies and firms specializing in foreign economic activity, among other potential employers.
